How much can solar save me on my electricity bill?
With Pakistan’s rising electricity tariffs, most residential and commercial solar systems pay for themselves within 3-5 years. After that, you generate free electricity for 20+ years. Exact savings depend on your system size, daily usage, and whether you’re on net metering.
What is net metering and do I need it?
Net metering lets you sell excess solar units back to the grid through your existing utility connection (K-Electric, LESCO, etc.), reducing future bills. KN Green Energy handles the full net metering application and approval process for you.
How long does installation take?
Most residential systems (3kW-10kW) are installed and commissioned within 2-5 days once materials are on-site. Commercial and larger systems typically take 1-2 weeks depending on size and roof complexity.
Do I need a battery with my solar system?
Not necessarily. If your goal is just to cut your electricity bill during the day, an on-grid system with net metering works fine without batteries. If you also want backup during loadshedding, we add a battery bank sized to your usage (hybrid system).
How much does a solar system cost in Pakistan?
Cost depends on system size, brand, and whether you need batteries. Share your monthly electricity bill or use our Load Calculator, and we’ll give you an accurate quote — free of cost.
What size system do I need for my home?
Use our Load Calculator to add up your appliances, or send your last 2-3 electricity bills — we’ll recommend the right system size based on your actual usage.
What maintenance do solar panels need?
Panels need periodic cleaning (every 1-3 months depending on dust/location) to maintain efficiency. Inverters and batteries should be inspected annually. We offer maintenance plans for both.
What warranty do you offer?
Solar panels typically carry 10-12 year product and 25-year performance warranties. Inverters carry 1-5 years depending on brand. We’ll confirm exact terms for your selected equipment before installation.
